چکیده
A multiple-mode metal-insulator-metal plasmonic sensor with four coupled bowtie resonators containing two pairs of silver baffles is numerically investigated using the finite element method and verified by temporal mode theory. The proposed structure can function as a refractive index glucose sensors working in visible near-infrared wavelength ranges. Simulation results show that introducing cavities modify plasmon resonance modes give tunable way to enhance sensitivity figure merit. highest (S) reach S = 1500.00, 1400.00, 1100.00 nm/RIU high merit (FOM) 50.00, 46.67, 36.67 RIU−1 from 1 3. obtained three operating wavelengths simultaneously exceeds along remarkably FOM, which are not attainable other reported literature. realize multi-mode shows impressive practical prospects be applied for integrated optics circuits (IOCs) nanophotonics devices.

Wavelength Selectable Solid-State Raman lasers in the Visible and Ultraviolet Ranges
Solid-state Raman lasers are known as important sources at normally difficult to access wavelengths, and our recent studies have shown that they also form the basis of a class of wavelength selectable lasers. This paper summarizes our recent studies in wavelength selectable Raman lasers in the visible (532-650 nm) and ultraviolet (266-321 nm).
متن کاملMulti-stage Visible Wavelength and Near Infrared Iris Segmentation Framework
This paper presents a multi-stage iris segmentation framework for the localization of pupillary and limbic boundaries of human eyes. Instead of applying time-consuming exhaustive search approaches, like traditional circular Hough Transform or Daugman’s integrodifferential operator, an iterative approach is used. By decoupling coarse center detection and fine boundary localization, faster proces...
متن کاملLinear refractive index and absorption measurements of nonlinear optical liquids in the visible and near-infrared spectral region
Liquid-filled photonic crystal fibers and optofluidic devices require infiltration with a variety of liquids whose linear optical properties are still not well known over a broad spectral range, particularly in the near infrared. Hence, dispersion and absorption properties in the visible and near-infrared wavelength region have been determined for distilled water, heavy water, chloroform, carbo...
متن کاملFlood Monitoring Using Satellite-Based RGB Composite Imagery and Refractive Index Retrieval in Visible and Near-Infrared Bands
Satellite remote sensing provides significant information for the monitoring of natural disasters. Recently, on a global scale, floods have been increasing both in frequency and in magnitude. In order to map the inundation area, flooding events are investigated using unique RGB composite imagery based on the MODIS surface reflectance (MOD09GA) data obtained from the Terra satellite, which is us...
متن کاملSpectral resonance of nanoscale bowtie apertures in visible wavelength
We report spectroscopic measurements of transmitted field through bowtie-shaped nanoscale apertures in visible wavelength region. Resonance in these apertures and its relation with the aperture geometry are investigated. The near-field spectral response is also investigated using finite difference time domain (FDTD) computation and compared with the spectroscopic measurements. The dependences o...
